An incredibly original late 18th Century chest of two short over three long graduated drawers with their original locks and handles.

The carcass and drawer linings constructed of pine with mahogany top and drawer fronts nicely detailed with cock beading and handles with very decorative pressed brass back plates. The chest raised on shaped bracket feet.

The chest has been in private ownership for the last fifty years and has been very much loved and cared for. As such, whilst there are some minor losses and staining to the top consistent with age and use, we have chosen to leave this piece in it's highly original condition.

A charming and very useful piece of furniture.
