A fine 19th Century Adam style bergère arm chair of unusually generous proportions.
The chair features a wide and deep seat with concave arm supports raised on square tapered legs to the front and square swept legs to the rear terminating in brass castors.
The satinwood frame painted in a neo-classical design featuring foliage and flowers surrounded by line decoration. The scrolled crest features a young lady holding a spaniel.
The chair including the cane work seat and back, is in excellent original condition with the painted decoration retaining good vibrant colours.
An excellent example that will add tremendous aesthetic appeal.
