General

The following Terms and Conditions relate to the use of the website Damon Blandford Antiques (we) available at: www.damonblandford.co.uk.

We welcome you to browse our collections, use the website to find out more about us and read about what drives our passion. The website provides a means to contact us using a structured email system. It also enables users to subscribe for newsletters and updates. This service is provided free of charge.

Subscribing for newsletters and updates, along with the process to purchase items directly from the website will require you to provide personal information such as an email address. To read more about how we manage and safeguard your personal information, please see our ‘Privacy Policy’.

Purchases

The items within our collections are available for sale unless stated otherwise. However, we reserve the right to reject a sale without stating a reason.

All goods are sold as seen. We seek to accurately describe all items that are available for sale however, we request that you pay close attention to the photographs as they form part of the item’s description. You should also take note of the items measurements to inform your purchasing decisions.

At the ‘checkout’ you will be required to provide certain personal information. It is essential that the information you provide is both truthful and complete. If any of the information you have provided changes, or you subsequently become aware that information you have provided is inaccurate or incomplete, you should update us at the earliest opportunity. Following an online purchase, an email will be sent to the address provided confirming details and the method of collection/delivery chosen.

Collections

The website checkout process default is ‘Pick up in store’. If another 'Method' is not selected, the onus will be on the purchaser to collect the items.

Purchased items should be collected within 14 days. If storage is required beyond 14 days, prior arrangement should be made by contacting damonblandford@outlook.com to discuss and confirm the timescales, availability and cost.

Damon Blandford Antiques will communicate with the purchaser to confirm the collection address and arrange a mutually convenient time/date for collection.

Please note that Damon Blandford Antiques insist on comprehensively insuring all items until they are received or signed for. Customers who collect items themselves ‘receive’ items at the point of collection and as such, Damon Blandford Antiques assumes no responsibility for any damage that is caused during onward transportation.

Items that remain uncollected after 6 months unless by prior agreement, will become the property of Damon Blandford Antiques.

Delivery

If a delivery quote is required prior to purchase, this should be done using the ‘sales enquiry’ on the individual product page.

When delivery is requested at the checkout, the item is purchased without delivery, a separate invoice will be generated to cover the cost of delivery. Items will not be shipped until payment for delivery has been made.

UK delivery times may vary however, Damon Blandford Antiques aim to deliver smaller parcels within 1-2 weeks and larger more bulky items within 2-4 weeks.

Damon Blandford Antiques will inform the purchaser when items have been shipped and will provide tracking numbers where available.

All deliveries are to the kerbside. For heavy and bulky items please ensure that someone is available to assist with off-loading on arrival as the driver will not ordinarily be accompanied by a second person. If you wish to have your item delivered into your home, please get in touch with Damon Blandford Antiques to discuss your requirements before placing your order. This may incur additional cost.

The cost of transportation (including insurance) is the responsibility of the Purchaser.

International shipping

We are happy to ship overseas and have an experienced shipping partner who is able to provide insured crates and cases that are purpose built to meet the latest standards and regulations. However, it should be noted that delivery time may well exceed those stated above. Buyers should check with their local authorities to establish if any customs and import taxes are applicable. All additional customs and tax payments are the responsibility of the buyer.

Returns

14 days ‘No quibble’ return on all items

At Damon Blandford Antiques we only buy items that move us and we would happily live with ourselves. However, if you are not entirely happy, we offer 14 days ‘no quibble’ return on all items.

Payments will be refunded less the cost of shipping as soon as items are returned to us in Cranham, Gloucestershire. We are only able to make refunds on this basis if the items are returned to us undamaged.

Damages

Please inspect all items upon delivery. Whilst we make every effort to deliver items to you safely, there is always a risk that items can be damaged during transportation. If you discover an item has been damaged, please contact us within 2 days. We will arrange to have the item collected from you and will issue a refund.

In the event of an item having been damaged, please email us at damonblandford@outlook.com  with photographs of the item showing the damage as well as the packaging where possible. Ultimately goods in transit are the responsibility of the courier and this will assist us to reclaim monies for the damage.

Damon Blandford Antiques reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time.
