Of exceptionally good quality and almost certainly made by Gillows of Lancaster.

This table is identical to, and bears all the hallmarks of, documented examples by Gillows & Co workmen. The design adapted to produce both book and music stands.

Of good colour and condition, this elegant example features a single drawer raised on reeded bun feet and would make an excellent sofa side table.
