A very attractive early 20th Century tub chair with chinoiserie decoration.

Comprising cane work to the seat and shaped back, supported by a black lacquered hardwood frame all raised on well proportioned cabriole legs with ball and claw feet.

The gilt and cinnabar chinoiserie decoration featuring flowers, foliage and pagoda style buildings. Together with a newly upholstered loose seat pad, the chair is not only very aesthetically pleasing but also very comfortable.
