An incredibly elegant Georgian mahogany side or centre table with frieze drawer and under tier.

In highly original condition, this very fine piece of furniture comprises a two plank top with moulded edge. The planks cut and joined on the angle to align with the grain of the wood.

The single full width drawer is lined in oak and constructed using fine dovetail joints. The drawer retains it's original brass drop handle.

Below the drawer, a shaped frieze to all four sides of the table.

In order to achieve slim and elegant proportions, the drawer runners have been cut away to follow the curve of the shaped frieze. This is further testament, to the care, and attention to detail, in construction of this fine quality table.

All raised on square legs, united by a concave shaped under tier.

The table would be well suited as a sofa side table or lamp table.
