A wonderfully designed leather library chair from the third quarter of the 19th Century with elegantly shaped scrolled backrest.
The mahogany show-wood frame with carved lion head details contrasting beautifully with the more recent light brown 'tobacco' colour leather upholstery.
The sprung seat and backrest raised on well proportioned square swept legs to the rear and turned and carved legs to the front with their original brass cup and castors fitted with porcelain wheels.
This chair has real presence and grandeur.
