An exceptionally good 18th Century French refectory table. Constructed in oak, with a very well figured single plank top featuring breadboard ends secured by blacksmith forged iron nails.
The trestle style supports are another particularly attractive feature having hand carved spiral details to their outer edges. The supports united by a deep reeded stretcher.
A really wonderful table that could be used as a dinning, preparation or large console table. It would look equally good in a contemporary or period setting.
