C19th Anglo-Chinese Three Part Campaign Desk

A good 19th Century Anglo-Chinese campaign desk of excellent colour.

Constructed entirely in hard wood, this compact desk is noticeably heavier than you might imagine.

The top section fitted with a green leather skiver with tooled gilt decoration to the outer edge. Below the moulded top are two drawers of equal size. The supporting pedestals each with three further drawers, all cut with line mould and fitted with brass campaign handles. The paneled back with raised field of Chinese form all raised on bun feet.

In excellent condition, the time worn patina and colour of this desk is absolutely superb.

An incredibly useful compact desk that will sit well in a multitude of settings.
