An absolutely wonderful French grapevine root table from the early 19th Century.
Made from a gnarly old grapevine, the roots branch out to form feet like structures creating a very stable pedestal type base. This grapevine supporting a circular table top made from a single plank of hardwood possibly ash. The top has an applied lipped edge attached with early rose-head nails.
A charming and characterful table in excellent condition. Genuinely unique and sure to be a real talking point.
