A very fine quality Queen Anne revival serving or console table by Hamptons of Pall Mall, London.
Constructed from beautifully figured cuts of pollard oak. The top with moulded edge above three drawers of equal size with brass drop handles and moulded fronts to match the top.
Below the drawers is a shaped frieze, a particularly attractive feature of this table. All raise on eight crisply carved cabriole legs with hoof feet united by turned stretches.
An incredibly stylish piece of furniture constructed by one of the finest London cabinet makers of the period.
In excellent condition and of the most wonderful colour with wear consistent with age and use. This table would work well as a large console table or sofa table and could be used to tremendous effect in both traditional or contemporary settings.
