This lamp would would have been fixed to a work bench and used to provide task lighting within a factory setting.

Produced to withstand the demands of day to day factory life this lamp has remained in exceptionally good condition and whilst there are marks and scratches to the arm, the green enamel shade is near perfect.

The lamp has been re-wired and mounted on a two step cherry wood plinth for use in a domestic setting but it could equally be used for it's original purpose.

Almost certainly produced by EDL Lighting. Established in 1922 in Staffordshire and still trading.

A classic piece of British industrial design that will look great in the home or workplace.
