Antique riven glass claret jug with engraved silver overlay

A most attractive American Art Nouveau riven glass claret jug with silver overlay.

The jug of cylindrical form with small lipped spout, spread base and c-scroll handle. The silver overlay of an intricate design featuring grapes and vine leaves with a heart shape cartouche (although this has never been engraved).

Of exceptionally good quality and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

Almost certainly American and from the turn of the 20th Century.
