An excellent condition 19th Century bow-backed chair of generous proportions.
This incredibly sturdy chair is constructed in mahogany and has a padded, tan colour hide, scroll back and buttoned seat, all raised on cabriole legs united by a crinoline stretcher.
The chair is very well made and noticeably heavy, testament to the quality of timber.
It is in excellent condition with age related wear to the leather which we feel only adds to its aesthetic appeal.
A very comfortable and supportive chair that would be very suitable for use at a large desk or writing table. However, it could also be used in another area of the home or workplace if a higher and more upright seating position is desirable.
An incredibly good quality piece of furniture.
H: 86cm
W: 69.5cm (width between arm supports 48cm)
