A beautifully detailed still life composition painted in oil on an oval shaped panel by the Dutch artist H. Drieling. The painting is signed bottom right and mounted in a giltwood frame.
A wonderfully colourful painting depicting white, pink, red and blue flowers in a terracotta urn against a black background in the 17th Century style. The level of detail reveals a number of insects as well as the more prominent Red Admiral butterfly. The flowers further animated with droplets of water.
A very attractive composition.
