A profusely decorated pottery vase of bulbous form with an inverted conical shaped neck.
Beautifully decorated using slip & Sgraffito technics to create the most beautiful foliate decoration stylistically typical of Heimberg pottery now referred to as 'Thoune pottery'.
Layers of white, yellow, orange and blue slip depict the flowers including edelweiss with green foliage on a brown underglaze ground.
An incredibly attractive vase in exceptionally good condition with only very minor losses to the coloured slip.
