Rare Antique Carved Limestone Musician Gnome

A wonderfully detailed carved limestone musician in the form of a 'gnome'.

Of reasonably large scale, the carving depicts a bearded 'gnome' in a seated position, head back in full song whilst playing the squeeze box or concertina.

Having spent many years inside, this mythical 'protector of the natural environment' would be equally happy outside. 

'Gnomes' have a long history folklore dating back to the 1600's.
