A very well executed painting in the manner of Pablo Picasso painted within the same period.

This monochromatic oil on board bears close resemblance to L'Egyptienne, a painting by Pablo Picasso of his lover Francoise Gilot.

As with L'Egyptienne, the sitter is depicted in frontal and profile positions simultaneously.

Painted by a skilled and confident hand. Unsigned and mounted within a good quality parcel gilt frame of the period.
