An exceptionally well made late 19th Century teak Anglo-Indian chest of drawers in two sections with particularly nice blacksmith forged swing carry handles.
The upper section with two short and one long drawer; the lower section with two long drawers. All fitted with brass swan neck handles, molded drawer fronts and ebony escutcheons. The chest raised on turned feet.
The rear of the chest features three panels to both the upper and lower sections, further testament to the quality of construction.
An incredibly solid and well made piece of military campaign or travel furniture that could now be used within areas of the home where access is more difficult.
