A most elegant rush seated faux bamboo armchair in its original paint.
The backrest constructed of two top and two bottom rails supporting grouped spindles of slender proportions. Further grouped spindles support the arms above a newly woven rush seat all raised on turned legs joined by stretchers.
The painted decoration designed to emulate bamboo retains excellent colour which has been further enhanced by the passage of time and use.
An aesthetically beautiful chair and an incredibly good example in a solid usable condition.
