A really attractive hand woven kilim featuring five central rectangular "chest" motifs of geometric design. Each one made up of concentric layers of red, green, black and white colours on grey ground.
Smaller stylised lozenges within the central area of the kilim feature rams horns, a symbol of power. These symbols are also repeated within the outer boarder which is predominantly red and black on grey ground with white and green details.
A good quality kilim made from hand spun wool yarn the colours obtained from natural dyes.
Whilst larger, this kilim is well matched to kilim DB370 both stylistically and in terms of its colour. As such the two kilims could be used together.
