Dating from the Chippendale period, this mid 18th Century mahogany open armchair came from the private collection of Lady Hambledon. The chair featured in an article 'The Manor House, Buckinghamshire - The Home of Lady Hambledon' dated 14th July 1994, page 72, fig. 3 (the entrance hall).
A fine quality chair, of good colour and generous proportions. Available in excellent, solid condition with historic repairs to the arms.
