An excellent example of a late 18th early 19th Century flame mahogany bow fronted chest of three graduated drawers of the most wonderful colour and patination from over two hundred years of use.
This much loved chest passed between five generations of the same family, over a time period of at least 150 years.
Most of this time was spent in central London, the majority in Chelsea and latterly Kings Road, Fulham. During this time, it was in continual use except for a period of time during the second world war when it was taken from London to Alton, Hampshire and stored in a garage for the duration of the war. The chest comes with a full list of names, addresses and dates from it's time with the Bonnett family.
A very elegant chest of drawers in excellent condition.
