Cast as a North African Moorish water carrier, this late 19th or early 20th Century polychrome painted spelter figure, is signed in the casting and mounted on it's original ebonised timber plinth.

In excellent condition and retaining good colour, the sculpture depicts an Arab male in traditional clothing carrying a water vessel up a set of steps.

A highly decorative and interesting interior design piece.
