Modelled on a mature golden pheasant in an alert and upright natural pose.

A beautifully painted porcelain decorated in vibrant colours. The mottled tail feathers being particularly well painted.

Marked to the underside of the base with the letter 'M' and possibly by KPM Berlin, Germany.
