A rush seated open armchair of excellent quality combining a mixture of carved and turned details.
The chair has a gently reclining back constructed of two shaped bobbin carved mid rails, below a deeper shaped top rail, all supported by circular styles.
Wonderfully shaped arm rests and ring turned arm supports above the rush seat all combine to create a very comfortable chair.
Raised on faux-bamboo legs united by stretchers, also turned and carved to represent bamboo.
A chair of excellent quality and condition with only a small amount of historic woodworm.
