This detailed and vibrant Indian street scene features fabulous architecture, cattle and numerous people going about their daily lives. A detailed watercolour painting by a very skilled hand demonstrating excellent use of colour and light.
The artist, G.D. Thyage Raj was born in Kodaikaal, Tamil Nadu and studied at the Madras Collage of Arts developing a distinctive style rooted in observational and atmospheric detail as seen from this superb street scene. The artists career spanned both India and California, America.
Mounted in a new, bespoke made, dark blue, oak box frame.
